The Exam Prep. 2

Like yesterday, we looked into the Exam and mainly focused on the essay in which will be done this coming Friday. In addition to looking into the Essays, I confirmed my stances on the essay in which is required for the exam. Luckily, even after watching a brief argument between David and Mr. Schick it was made definitive that we would be able to use note cards to assist in writing our essays this Friday. 

As the class wrapped up, I asked Mr. Schick what advice he would give me so that I can do well in my exams, he told me that since I had done quite well in his class, he would advise me to focus on these other exams since I would likely not struggle with his exam. I'm still a bit skeptical though I am going to take his advice and focus more on the other exams. Now, just because I'm studying more for the other exams, it does NOT mean that I will never study for Human Geo, in fact, I'm going to begin studying some Human Geo then math following the conclusion of this Blog Post. Besides that, I am wondering whether I will have to do Blog Posts throughout the exams. 

With that said, I conclude my December 11th Blog Post

As discussed yesterday, we were instructed to write an essay question which would be used on the upcoming test. As a matter of fact, we were informed that our test (or at least part of it) is going to be during our class time this Thursday. Meaning we have a fair amount of time to study still; though, we expect to receive more information regarding the format of the test soon. My essay question and explanation is as follows: As we discussed in class, Socrates was a man of austere philosophy and even gave his life for his beliefs. Cyber Day; Post Nine

In light of yesterday's assignment, we were instructed today to reflect on our accountability throughout these times of social distancing. This includes: actively participating in social distancing, cleaning ourselves, and giving our best efforts to remain home. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that everyone takes these guidelines too seriously. I've seen plenty of people online going about their normal hangouts with large groups of friends, rather than distancing themselves to slow the spread. Weeks ago, we were struggling to perform tests. Now it seems that the FDA approval time has been expedited for the purpose of introducing faster COVID-19 testing kits as well as possible vaccines. There seems to be a lot of de-regulation occurring to allow businesses to survive in such a harsh time. Simply put, if no-ones out there spending money, the economy will not grow (or will have very little growth). As a student, I find myself more stressed out than usual since I'm locked

Today, rather than a deep analysis of a new subject, we were instead instructed to find two images of classical Greece Architecture. A subject which I truly enjoy learning about. Those images are posted directly below:  First Image: The Parthenon, Acropolis of Athens Likely one of the most recognizable structures in Greece would be the massive structure located on the hill of Acropolis, The Parthenon. This structure was likely created over an eleven-year span (447 BC - 438 BC) and was dedicated to the goddess Athena. The structure, incredibly after over 2,000 years still remains intact; though somewhat damaged from the years of exposure it's been put through. It is also important to realize that this structure stood as a symbol for the religions which the Greeks practiced since it represented one of their goddesses'.
