Snow Day

I figured that as I wrapped up my studying for the day, I would recap through a blog in which I have no clue whether we're supposed to do or not. I did a fair amount of Math though I feel as if I could've done more. I'm very interested to see the format of that test anyways. In addition to studying for math, I also took a look at my Spanish quizlets, but let's not forget that I made Human Geo quizlets on that same platform to allow easy studying (all in one). So after a little studying in all of these departments, I hopped over to Veracross and found that I only got 90% on my most recent Human Geo quiz. A mild disappointment. But now I'm eager to see what I missed when I took that, because I was pretty confident when I took it, I mean really confident. That was very upsetting, though I figured so long as I do well on my exam, I ought to be fine, that is why I am worrying on my future grades much more than my previous grades in hopes that by doing so, I can lift them up even a little. Besides that, I intend to now get a good night's sleep in order to succeed in my exams tomorrow.

As discussed yesterday, we were instructed to write an essay question which would be used on the upcoming test. As a matter of fact, we were informed that our test (or at least part of it) is going to be during our class time this Thursday. Meaning we have a fair amount of time to study still; though, we expect to receive more information regarding the format of the test soon. Cyber Day; Post Nine

In light of yesterday's assignment, we were instructed today to reflect on our accountability throughout these times of social distancing. This includes: actively participating in social distancing, cleaning ourselves, and giving our best efforts to remain home. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that everyone takes these guidelines too seriously. I've seen plenty of people online going about their normal hangouts with large groups of friends, rather than distancing themselves to slow the spread. Weeks ago, we were struggling to perform tests. Now it seems that the FDA approval time has been expedited for the purpose of introducing faster COVID-19 testing kits as well as possible vaccines. There seems to be a lot of de-regulation occurring to allow businesses to survive in such a harsh time. Simply put, if no-ones out there spending money, the economy will not grow (or will have very little growth). As a student, I find myself more stressed out than usual since I'm locked

Today, rather than a deep analysis of a new subject, we were instead instructed to find two images of classical Greece Architecture. A subject which I truly enjoy learning about. Those images are posted directly below:  First Image: The Parthenon, Acropolis of Athens Likely one of the most recognizable structures in Greece would be the massive structure located on the hill of Acropolis, The Parthenon. This structure was likely created over an eleven-year span (447 BC - 438 BC) and was dedicated to the goddess Athena. The structure, incredibly after over 2,000 years still remains intact; though somewhat damaged from the years of exposure it's been put through. It is also important to realize that this structure stood as a symbol for the religions which the Greeks practiced since it represented one of their goddesses'.
